L’ARTISTA / THE ARTIST 🤵
Nato nel 1971, Bertrand Giraud ha ottenuto il diploma di pianoforte e il Diploma di Musica da Camera nel 1995 con “Mention Très Bien” presso il Conservatorio di Ginevra nella classe di Dominique Merlet. Ha ottenuto anche il diploma di pianista accompagnatore presso il Conservatorio di Parigi. Dal 1995, i suoi insegnanti principali sono stati il maestro Bruno Canino, Colette Zera, e Aquiles Delle Vigne, tutti di primaria importanza nella sua evoluzione artistica. Sotto la loro supervisione, il Bertrand Giraud ha studiato musica da camera, accompagnamento, composizione, analisi musicale e improvvisazione.
Betrand Giraud ha vinto numerosi concorsi musicali nazionali ed internazionali, come il Concorso Flame e il Chopin Piano Competition (Texas, USA), in cui gli è stato assegnato il secondo premio. Si è esibito non solo in Europa (Francia, Belgio, Bulgaria, Inghilterra, Germania, Cipro, Ungheria, Kazakistan, Macedonia, Norvegia, Polonia Austria, Italia, Romania, Russia, Spagna, Serbia e Svizzera), ma anche nelle Americhe, Giappone, Corea, Singapore, Taiwan e Thailandia. Affermato solista, ha collaborato con numerose orchestre (Filarmoniche Lodz, Lublin Philharmonic, Orchestra Sinfonica du Sodre, Orchestre provinciale de Rosario…) e suonato in diversi duetti con altri noti musicisti e gruppi da camera tra cui Pierre Amoyal, Bruno Canino, Bruno Pasquier, Henri Demarquette, Ami Flammer, Philippe Pierlot, Benoit Fromanger e L’Octuor de France.
Nel 2000, ha fatto il suo debutto a New York, città dove è ora invitato regolarmente. Si è esibito per France – Musiques, così come per la tv americana, italiana e tailandese. In questo ultimo caso, ha avuto il piacere di esibirsi per la Regina della Thailandia.
È membro di giuria di molti concorsi internazionali (Audition di Sydney, Porto, Marsala, AMA Calabria, Bitola…)
Oltre a possedere un vasto repertorio solistico tradizionale, Bertrand Giraud si è esibito presentando molta musica contemporanea come Francaix, Pessina e Kutnowski. Ha inoltre commissionato e presentato una nuova opera scritta per lui dal compositore Jean Louis Petit. Dal 1998 è direttore artistico del concorso Jean Françaix.
Ha inciso 17 cd per Erol, Maguelone e Anima Records, ricevuti con consensi dalla stampa specializzata. Tiene masterclass in Serbia, Germania, Kazakhstan (Accademia di musica di Astana), Stati Uniti d’America.

Born in 1971, Bertrand Giraud obtained his Piano Diploma and his Chamber Music Diploma in 1995 with “Mention Très Bien” at the Conservatory of Geneva in Dominique Merlet’s Class. He also obtained a Pianista accompagnatore Diploma from the Paris Conservatory. Since 1995, his main teachers have been maestro Bruno Canino, Colette Zerah, and Aquiles Delle Vigne, all of which were paramount in his artistic evolution. Under their supervision, Mr. Giraud studied chamber music, accompaniment, composition, musical analysis, and improvisation. Mr. Giraud has won numerous national and international musical contests, such as the Flame Competition and the Chopin Piano Competition (Texas, USA), in which he was awarded the second prize.
Mr Giraud has performed not only in Europe (France, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, England, Germania, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Lebanon, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugual, Rumania, Russia, Spain, Serbie Switerland, Turkey, Ucrainia), but also Morrocco in the two Americas, China, Japan, Singapur, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailandia. An experienced soloist, he has worked with numerous conductors and orchestra (Lodz philharmonic, North Czech Philharmonic Teplice, Lublin philharmonic Orchestre symphonique du Sodre, Orchestre provincial de Rosario,… ) and played in several duets with other well-known musicians and chamber groups, such as Pierre Amoyal, Bruno Canino, Bruno Pasquier, Henri Demarquette, Ami Flamer, Philippe Pierlot, Benoit Fromanger and L’Octuor de France, among others.
Also, he played with some orchestra’s of Paris or Cleveland soloists in the season of the orchestra.
In 2000, he did his debut at New York, city where he is now invited on a regular basis. The acknowledgement of his art lead him to work with France-Musiques, as well as the American TV, Italian TV and Thai TV. In this last instance, he had the pleasure to perform for the Queen of Thailand. He is jugde for many nationals and internationals competition
(Audition of Sydney, Porto, Premio Zanfi of Parma/Liszt, Marsala, Safonov, AMA Calabria, Palma D’Oro, Bitola…).
In addition to possessing a wide solo and chamber repertory including the main works of the tonal repertoire, Mr. Giraud has championed new music written by composers like Francaix, Pessina, and Kutnowski. He has also commisioned and premiered a new work written for him by composer Jean Louis Petit. Since 1998, he is the artistic Director of the Jean Françaix Competition.
Mr. Giraud has recorded 17 cds for Erol, Maguelone and Anima-Records. All of these releases were received with acclaim in the specialized press.
He gives many masterclass in Serbie, Germania, Kazakhstan (Academy of music of Astana), Lebanon, (conservatoire supérieur du Liban), DMBUC Ilija Nikolovski Luj Skopje, Université of music (Pristina/Kosovo), USA, Yonsei University of Seoul (South Korea), Gnessin School of Moscow.

Come posso chiedere a qualcuno di unirsi alla mia corsa?
Sulla mappa dell’evento vedrai tutti i passeggeri che non hanno ancora un passaggio. Cliccando sulla loro icona, potrai proporre loro di unirsi alla tua corsa. Potresti anche ricevere suggerimenti che potresti accettare.
Quanto costa?
È completamente gratuito.
Come viene calcolata la CO2 totale risparmiata dal mio evento?
Partiamo dal presupposto di aver evitato i viaggi dei passeggeri in quanto probabilmente sarebbero arrivati in auto. In questo modo sappiamo quanti chilometri di guida sono stati evitati. Le emissioni totali di CO2 evitate vengono poi calcolate sulla base delle emissioni medie in Italia, ovvero 115,8 g/km.
Come posso fidarmi di un altro utente?
Ogni utente può essere valutato da altri utenti. La sua valutazione media verrà visualizzata accanto al suo nome quando fai clic sulla sua icona sulla mappa di un evento e il numero tra parentesi rappresenta il numero di volte in cui è stato valutato.
Come posso valutare qualcun altro?
Puoi valutare i tuoi passeggeri/autisti solo dopo il tuo viaggio con loro. È possibile fare clic sul pulsante a forma di fiocco nella home page > barra in alto a destra. Si aprirà una pagina in cui puoi selezionare chi vuoi valutare.
Posso modificare il mio viaggio?
Puoi sempre modificare il tuo viaggio. Tuttavia, modificando il tuo viaggio, i tuoi co-viaggiatori dovranno accettare le modifiche. Quindi evita di modificare il tuo viaggio inutilmente.
Posso cancellare il mio viaggio?
Puoi cancellare il tuo viaggio. Se sei un pilota, i tuoi passeggeri riceveranno una notifica e dovranno trovare una nuova corsa. Quindi evitalo il più possibile.
Quali sono le icone sulla mappa?
Ogni icona rappresenta il ruolo di una persona che partecipa all’evento. Il suo colore rappresenta il suo stato: blu quando puoi chiedere o proporre un passaggio, viola quando devi rispondere alla richiesta di quella persona e rosso quando hai già chiesto o proposto un viaggio a quella persona.

Quali sono le strade blu e rosse sulla mappa?
Queste strade sono suggerite dall’applicazione. La strada blu è la strada attuale del conducente. Quella rossa è la potenziale deviazione del pilota. Queste strade sono ottime ma disegnate grossolanamente, tanto per dare un’idea.

To register for an event, you have to click on the button on the bottom right of the map to register. By registering as potential passengers or drivers, the participants get matched in order to carpool or to share a taxi on the way toward and back from that event.
How can I ask someone to join my ride ?
On the event’s map, you will see every passenger that doesn’t have a ride yet. By clicking on their icon, you will be able to propose them to join your ride. You may also receive suggestions that you may accept.
How much does it cost?
It’s completely free.
How is the total emitted CO2 avoided of my event calculated?
We assume that we have avoided the journeys of the passengers as they would probably have come by car. This way we know how many kilometres of driving were avoided. The total CO2 emissions avoided are then calculated on the basis of the average emissions in Italy, namely 115.8 g/km.
How can I trust an other user?
Every user can be rated by other users. His average rate will be displayed next to his name when you click on his icon on the map of an event and the number between parentheses represents the number of times he has been rated.
How can I rate someone else?
You can only rate your coriders after your trip with them. You may click on the ribbon button on the top right of the home page. It will open a page where you can select who you want to rate.
Can I modify my trip?
You can always modify your trip. However, by modifying your trip, your co-riders will have to accept the changes. So avoid changing your trip unnecessarily.
Can I cancel my trip?
You can cancel your trip. If you are a rider, your passengers will receive a notification and will have to find a new ride. So avoid it as much as possible.
What are the icons on the map ?
Each icon represents the role of a person attending the event. Its color represents its state: blue when you can ask or propose a ride, purple when you must respond to that person’s request and red when you have already asked or proposed a trip to that person.

What are the blue and red roads on the map?
These roads are suggested by the application. The blue road is the current road of the driver. The red one is the potential detour of the driver. These roads are optimal but drawn roughly, just to give an idea.

Questo concerto fa parte del progetto “Meno Carta più Dialogo” di Amadeus Arte.
Da vari anni cerchiamo di ridurre drasticamente il consumo di carta. Non possiamo esimerci dallo stampare del materiale promozionale da distribuire o per affissioni, ma sentiamo la necessità di ridurre il più possibile l’utilizzo di questo supporto. Quest’anno dunque non stamperemo più i programmi di sala che saranno disponibili online. Un un link e QR code scansibile da qualunque smartphone (iOS, Android, Windows) alla cassa o al banco informativo permetterà al pubblico di avere il programma e la biografia dell’artista. In ogni concerto gli artisti annunceranno i brani direttamente al pubblico anche spiegando, se lo desiderano, il perché della loro scelta. In ogni concerto ci sarà spazio per domande e interazione. Gli spazi utilizzati non hanno la divisone scena-pubblico ciò permette di realizzare questa condivisione al meglio. Desideriamo con grande enfasi risparmiare energia e carta (salvando alberi ed acqua), aumentare la socializzazione, l’interscambio e l’umanità dei concerti stessi.
This concert is part of the “Less Paper more Dialogue” project by Amadeus Arte.
For several years we have been trying to drastically reduce paper consumption. We cannot exempt ourselves from printing promotional material to be distributed or for billboards, but we feel the need to reduce the use of this medium as much as possible. This year, therefore, we will no longer print the concert programs that will be available online. A link and QR code that can be scanned from any smartphone (iOS, Android, Windows) at the cash desk or at the information desk will allow the public to have the artist’s program and biography. In each concert the artists will announce the pieces directly to the public also explaining, if they wish, the reason for their choice. In every concert there will be room for questions and interaction. The spaces used do not have the scene-audience division, which allows this sharing to be achieved in the best possible way. We want with great emphasis to save energy and paper (saving trees and water); to increase socialization, exchange and the humanity of the concerts themselves.
