Soloist at the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including the Concertgebouw – Main Hall in Amsterdam, the Musikverein – Golden Hall in Vienna, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Großer Saal of the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Smetana Hall in Prague, the Guangdong Xinghai Symphony Hall (China), Concert Hall Bulgaria (Sofia), Hercules Hall and Auditorium Gasteig (Munich), with numerous orchestras, including the State of Mexico Symphony Orchestra, the Berliner Symphoniker, the Budapest Symphony Orchestra MAV, the Hong Kong Sinfonietta, the North Czech Philharmony Teplice, the Symphony Orchestra of Bulgaria National Radio, the Südwestdeutsche Philharmonie Orchester Konstanz, the Macedonian Symphony Orchestra, the Savaria Symphony Orchestra, and others.
He has performed throughout Europe, Switzerland, England, Turkey, Mexico, Russia, China, Canada, and the United States, and has recorded for prestigious radio stations. As a teacher, he holds master classes at several universities in Mexico, the Andrés Segovia Conservatory in Linares, the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, the Clark College Music Department at Washington State University, and the International Academy of Music in Minsk and St. Petersburg. He is currently Professor of Flute at the F. A. Bonporti Conservatory in Trento.
He has recorded CDs for Eco, Velut Luna, Classic Art, and Encore Music International.
He created the shows “Concerto d’Amore in Versi” and “Maria Callas and Pier Paolo Pasolini: An Impossible Love” with actor Fabio Testi, “L’Orfeo” with Andrea Bosca, “Poems to Love, Love Poems” with Amanda Sandrelli, “Stories of Ladies and Knights” with David Riondino, and “Homage to W. Shakespeare” with Giancarlo Giannini.
Gloria Cianchetta graduated with top marks at the G. Puccini Conservatory in La Spezia at the age of fifteen, and won the Hortense Anda-Bührle Prize “for a performance of exceptional artistic merit” at the prestigious Géza Anda Competition in Zurich. Gloria perfected her studies with Anna Kravtchenko in Lugano, graduating with honors from both the Master of Arts in Music Performance degree course in 2017 and the selective Master of Arts in Specialized Music Performance course for soloists in 2019 at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana. Among the numerous national and international prizes won, the following stand out: the 4th prize at the Allegro Vivo international competition in San Marino, the 5th prize at the national competition for the best Italian graduates Premio Venezia, the 1st prize at the Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition in Vienna and the 1st prize at the On Stage Competition in Rome, as well as first and overall prizes at the Riviera Etrusca national competition in Piombino, the J. S. Bach national competition in Sestri Levante, the City of Vicopisano national competition, the Giulio Rospigliosi national competition in Lamporecchio, the Mozart international competition in Frascati, the City of Cesenatico national competition, the Adriatic international music competition, the Zucchi prize national competition in Castelnuovo Garfagnana, the Città dell’Aquila international competition, the Chioggia lagoon festival international competition, the Carlo Campioni international competition, the Carlo Mosso international competition in Alessandria and the “Rovere D’Oro” international competition in San Bartolomeo a Mare. She has been invited to perform at major music festivals and venues in Italy and abroad, including the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Sala dei Giganti at Palazzo Liviano for the Friends of Music of Padua, the Gaber Auditorium at the Pirelli Tower for the Società dei Concerti of Milan, the LAC in Lugano, the Sala dei Cavalli at Palazzo Te for Mantova Musica, the RSI (Swiss Radio and Television), the Monferrato Classic Festival, the Elisarion Festival in Minusio, the Dino Ciani Music Association, and in Spain, Switzerland, and Russia. She has performed with the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana (OSI) under the baton of Maestro A. Vedernikov, the Chioggia Symphony Orchestra, the L. Refice Orchestra of Frosinone, and the Bacau Philharmonic Orchestra. Since 2019, she has been collaborating in a duo with violinist Francesca Bonaita and frequently performs in chamber music. She began studying piano at the age of five with Maestro Nataliya Kozina, later continuing her studies with Maestro Konstantin Bogino at the Accademia Borbottava in Rome and the Accademia Santa Cecilia in Bergamo. She subsequently studied at the Incontri col Maestro International Piano Academy in Imola under the guidance of Maestro Anna Kravtchenko, with whom she continues to perfect her skills at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano.
